Public Safety Committee approves consent items 3–22 and additional measures on June 4

The Los Angeles City Public Safety Committee on June 4 approved items 3 through 22 on the consent calendar and carried several additional measures by voice vote.
Chair Councilmember John Lee recommended that items 3–22 go on consent; with no objections, the committee approved the slate. The clerk then called the roll; the committee recorded four ayes and one absence and the items were approved as listed by the chair.
Committee notes on the consent calendar included: concurrence with recommendations from the government operations committee on item 5; approval to accept donations for items 6 through 13; items 14 and 15 were noted and filed; items 16 through 19 approved the City Administrative Officer recommendations; item 20 adopted the motion as listed; and items 21 and 22 approved acceptance of donations. The clerk recorded the votes as Councilmembers Lee, Price, McOsker and Park voting yes and Councilmember Sotomayor Martinez absent.
The committee proceeded to consider items 1 and 2 after the consent calendar. The consent approvals were recorded in the committee minutes and the items will move forward as approved.
