The Richland City Council on June 3 adopted Resolution 2025-92, declaring surplus and authorizing the relinquishment of a utility easement on the southwest boundary of 103 Canyon Street.
Public Works staff explained the easement previously contained an electrical line that has been removed and relocated; the property owner requested relinquishment to construct a retaining wall and other improvements. Staff reviewed the request and recommended relinquishment, finding no reason to retain the easement.
Council approved the resolution as part of the consent calendar by voice vote; no opposition was recorded.
