The Burrillville Town Council granted one-day expansions of licensed premises for alcohol service for the Fountain Square Spring Splash event to six downtown businesses on May 28, with no objections from town administration.
The approved expansions apply to the event on Saturday, May 31, with a rain date of Sunday, June 1. Businesses listed in the motion included Bravo Brewing Company (Chris Michaud), Elaine’s (EK Carpenter Inc.), George’s Pizza (Mark Murphy Inc.), Cow’s Tail Deli and Creamery (OM Coding LLC), and Taiwan Pasco Street Foods (Samani Enterprises LLC). The council conducted a public hearing, heard no opposition and approved the motion by voice vote.
Council members said an administrative review found no objections and asked event organizers to coordinate with police for public-safety needs. One councilmember commented on hoping for good weather and a dry site by the event start time.
