Board approves Hellgate High HVAC upgrade contract using permissive levy funds

Trustees approved acceptance of two alternates that bring the total contract to $115,154, pending successful negotiations, Facilities staff said.
Mr. McWilliams (facilities) told trustees the project will be paid for using permissive levy dollars approved by the board last year. The board’s high‑school motion to award the contract was moved by Vice Chair Walker Andrews and seconded by Trustee Wake; trustees voted unanimously to approve.
Ending: District staff will proceed with final contract negotiation and schedule the work, financed from permissive levy funds previously approved by the board.
