American Fork marina to reopen May 21 after shoreline cleanup, new playground and parking

Jason, the presenter for the American Fork Marina construction update, told the Utah Lake Authority on May 14 that the city expects to open the renovated marina on Wednesday, May 21.
The project rebuilt a failing parking lot, added a sandy beach area on the west side of the marina, installed a playground and six shade structures, constructed a new vault restroom on the west side, and stabilized shoreline with boulders and riprap. “We are officially opening next Wednesday, May 21,” Jason said.
