The board’s motion directs staff to draft and send a letter coordinated with ARSA and the affected cities; the motion passed unanimously.
Supervisors and ARSA officials asked the board to press for flexibility to avoid backups in the wastewater system, to allow the golf course irrigation that historically received the discharge while the agency completes required reporting, and to give the district time to complete dam repairs and related operations. The board also noted staff will coordinate with the city managers who asked for the county’s assistance.
