The El Paso City Plan Commission voted to approve the vacation of a portion of a 60-foot drainage easement within Canutillo Industrial Park Replat A, staff said, but required the applicant submit a revised survey showing only the portion within the city limits prior to city council consideration.
Planning staff (Armida Martinez) described the drainage easement located west of I-10 and north of Los Mochis and said the applicant requested vacation of a 60-foot drainage easement portion that is no longer needed or used. Staff recommended approval with the condition that a revised survey be submitted showing only the portion located inside the city limits before the item goes to city council.
The applicant representative (George Oliver, SL Engineering) concurred with staff comments. The public hearing was opened and, with no speakers, was closed. The commission voted to approve the proposed vacation with the survey condition.
