The Show Low City Council unanimously awarded the construction contract for a new restroom at Archbeck Park (Project FM7925) to LDNB LLC in an amount not to exceed $143,400.
Public Works staff described the project scope: a single building of approximately 373 square feet containing three ADA-accessible restrooms (a men's room with two stalls and one urinal, a women's room with two stalls, and a family restroom with an ADA adult changing station), a small storage closet and standard fixtures. Staff said the city will remove the existing restroom building and extend utilities to within five feet of the new building; the contractor will complete connections to existing services and deliver a usable facility in compliance with pertinent codes.
Staff presented bid results and indicated three bids were received: LDNB LLC ($143,400), DW Less Contracting LLC ($218,071.10) and Low Mountain Construction Inc. ($319,341). The staff report in the packet contained an inconsistent figure showing a recommendation amount of $443,400; the council's motion and the recorded bid amounts show LDNB's bid as $143,400 and the council's motion awarded the contract at that amount. The council unanimously approved the award; Councilman Hatch seconded the motion.
Staff said the new restroom will match recently constructed restroom buildings at the city campus and Show Low Lake group camping area, and that funding for the project is included in the city's FY2025 budget.
