County reports delivery of replacement buses; ridership up from 2024
Summary

The county’s Transportation Coordinating Committee reported that a replacement bus awarded in 2024 has been delivered and placed in service; with one additional replacement remaining, the committee said the fleet will be fully renewed once the last bus arrives.
Committee members reported ridership increases: one-way rides in the first quarter of 2025 were up 5% compared with fourth quarter 2024 and up 20% compared with first quarter 2024. The committee also announced two new volunteer drivers and the successful hiring of an ADRC business services manager, Adam Miller.
The committee said deliveries and staffing additions improve service capacity and that the fleet replacement plan will continue as scheduled.
