Bill 76/85 (sponsor: Senator Persaud) would amend the real property tax law to increase the child care center tax abatement amount for certain properties in a city with a population of 1,000,000. Senator Clerc moved the bill and Senator Adabo seconded. The motion passed and the bill was referred onward (the transcript notes "2 without rec").
Bill 77/48 (sponsor: Senator Jackson) would amend the General Municipal Law relating to disabilities of deputy chair members of a retirement system in certain cities. Senator Clear moved the bill and Senator Davos seconded. The motion passed and the bill was referred to the Finance committee.
