Consent agenda approved The board approved the consent agenda, which included accounts payable manifests (week of June 12 and June 19), draft minutes of June 2, a warrant for unlicensed dogs, a town green use form and three 2024 abatement requests. The motion to approve the consent agenda passed unanimously (4–0).
Senior transportation pilot: partnership and funding The board approved a motion to partner with Greater Salem Caregivers and the Plaistow Lions Club to launch a volunteer senior transportation pilot and to allocate $3,650 from the town to support initial implementation (phases 1 and part of phase 2). Waiver of fees for in‑town nonprofit Old Home Day vendors Selectmen approved waiving food‑service and vendor fees for in‑town 501(c) organizations participating in Old Home Day (the Lions Club and Boy Scouts were cited). Motion passed unanimously (4–0).
Non‑public session The board voted to enter non‑public session under RSA 91‑A:3 II(e). The board indicated it would not return to open session for public business.
