Mayor Alex Runagi said two separate groups of goats are performing fuel-modification grazing in Laguna Beach and that the city appreciates the work.
"We have them, in the, you know ... we are always we love the goats and, and are grateful for their work to keep us safe and provide fuel modification efforts," Runagi said on Fair Game Laguna. He said one group had been at 3 Arch Bay and that another group is operating elsewhere in town.
Runagi added the grazing is a cost-effective method of vegetation management and noted he had not received complaints about the goats or associated visitors at the time of the podcast.
