Council members welcomed Dorr at the dais and expressed confidence in his experience; several council members and the mayor offered brief remarks of support before the roll-call vote. The motion to approve the employment agreement was carried 5-0.
Dorr was invited to the dais following the vote for photographs and brief remarks. The employment agreement is effective June 9, contingent on the conditions stated in the agreement, and staff will complete onboarding and benefits enrollment steps.
