Enid outlines summer school schedule, meal sites and enrollment; district enrollment down about 3.5% from last year

Summer school will run May 27 through June 19 with elementary programming at Garfield and Monroe, middle‑school sites at Longfellow and Waller, and Enid High School offering credit recovery and driver’s education. Summer feeding will be available at Garfield and Monroe. Leslie Wicker, who presented the summary, said high school credit recovery is a mix of in‑person and online options to accommodate student needs; about 180 high school students were enrolled for summer programs at the time of the meeting.
