Pasco board approves vacation of drainage and utility easement to allow homeowner pool

The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners approved a petition to vacate part of a platted drainage and utility easement so a homeowner can install a swimming pool and surrounding deck.
Lori Jo Bryant of the Real Property Division told the board there were no objections and recommended approval of the petition filed by Thomas Gazelle. The board motioned, seconded and voted in favor of the vacation. No opposition appeared at the hearing.
Staff recorded that the vacation will allow the homeowner to proceed with pool installation subject to any required permits.
