The Municipal Services Committee recorded unanimous votes (5-0) on multiple routine items during its Oct. 6 meeting.
The committee approved the minutes from the previous meeting (agenda item 25-1189). The committee approved agenda item 25-1190, a long-term temporary occupancy permit for a construction dumpster at 1808 West Pine Street through Dec. 22, 2025. The committee also approved a long-term temporary occupancy permit extension (referred to in the packet as 20-51192) to allow occupancy on Superior Street and College Avenue for work at 222 West College Avenue through Dec. 31, 2025; staff said the traffic control plan was reviewed and approved by the DPW traffic division and included conditions for removing occupancy within sidewalk areas evenings, weekends, and as work flow allows.
All three items passed by voice vote 5-0. The Small Business Saturday parking request (25-1195), the SMA revision for the Old Oneida Street bridge (25-1196) and the Comet Ridge plat street design parameters (25-1197) were considered separately and are summarized in separate reports.
