Council approves Multiscape contract to begin Lackawanna Avenue streetscape project

During floor remarks members expressed hope that the contract award would move forward work on a long-planned project, including repairs to the wall on Lackawanna Avenue referenced earlier in public comment.
The resolution authorizes contract execution with the named contractor; the contract value and start date were not read into the record during the meeting. Councilmembers asked that the project proceed and indicated the award should enable site work to commence.
