The commission opened by approving the minutes of the May 20 meeting and then recessed to its Community Redevelopment Agency to hold a public hearing on the downtown master arts plan. Mayor Jason Leslie and commissioners voted to adopt Resolution No. 2025‑96 approving the plan after public comment both opposing and supporting the initiative. The resolution was read by title at the meeting and carried on a voice vote.
