Councilors asked whether positions shown as expected to be filled partway through the fiscal year were budgeted for the full annual salary or only for the funded portion. Carly Mervasinski said, “For the few positions that are only gonna be funded for partial of the year, the budget only includes that part of the year that we intend on hiring.”
Councilors generally praised the clarity and accessibility of the budget documents; staff said the budget will be presented again at the next council meeting for formal action.
