BRN approves education and licensing committee recommendations, adds Carrington College to consent list

Mary Anne McCarthy, senior nursing education consultant, told the board that Carrington College had been included in committee materials in April but was left off the public agenda in error; the item is a continuing approval and McCarthy said the program came into compliance. Committee chairboard reports described the item set as routine action items on continuing approvals, site‑visit findings and other program monitoring matters.
Board member Lisonbee Cormack moved to adopt the ELC recommendations and specifically amended the motion to include Carrington College on the consent list. After public comment in support and no pulls from the public or board members, the board voted unanimously to adopt the ELC’s recommended actions.
