The Cambridge Planning Board on June 10 agreed to a request from Boston Properties Limited Partnership to extend the statutory hearing and decision deadline for planning case PB 315, a major amendment to the MXD development concept plan affecting 320 Charles Street.
Community Development Department staff said the applicant provided a waiver of the statutory time for hearing and decision and requested an extension through Sept. 30, 2025, while the parties continue to resolve issues raised at the March 25, 2025 hearing. The board appointed Associate Member Dan Anderson to sit for the full‑board vote on the item because a regular member, Tom Sinevich, recused himself from this matter. Ted Cohen moved to approve the extension; Ashley Tan seconded. The roll call showed all seven appointed members voted in favor. The extension was approved with no amendments noted at the meeting.
Board members will continue to receive staff updates as the applicant and staff work through outstanding issues; the item will be scheduled for a future hearing date within the new statutory window.
