Tim Lambert, director of education for Budget Challenge, told the board the program combines a standard e‑textbook with a 10‑week, real‑time simulation in which students manage an adult’s finances, receive daily updates on pay and bills and earn performance and engagement scores. Lambert said the simulation is designed to teach practical money‑management skills that “you learn by doing” and that the product includes editable lesson slides, teacher guides, parent‑engagement templates and optional print copies.
