The recommendation followed a presentation from Suwannee County parks and recreation director Alden Rosner explaining that FWC had requested comment and documentation on whether vessel operation is causing “negative impacts to water quality, water quantity, hydrology, wetlands, and aquatic and wetland dependent species,” and that the commission had asked for local feedback by Oct. 24.
