The letter suggested a process where board members, when approached with complaints, direct constituents first to coaches, then athletic directors, then school administration and finally the superintendent instead of taking personal agendas to the board.
Meeks said Eagle "has been associated with the Hermiston School District for over 47 years" and asked the board to consider enforcement measures and clearer public expectations to protect staff. Board members thanked Eagle for his service and acknowledged concern for staff safety and respectful public discourse, but no formal action was taken at the meeting.
