Lock Haven council approves street closures and park uses for summer events, appoints relief driver

The Lock Haven City Council approved multiple event permits and an appointment at a council meeting.

Council members voted to authorize a street closure for recurring Uncle Albert's events on sections of East Main/North Westford and related alleys on multiple dates this summer and fall, approved the use of Copeland Skatepark for a vendor and skate contest on July 27, and approved use of Hannah and Betty Parks as overflow parking and tent camping for the Eagleton Trail Festival from May 8–10, 2026. The council also accepted the Lock Haven Fire Advisory Board's recommendation to appoint Brian Brumgard to fill a vacant relief driver position at Citizens Hope.
