The Porterville Project Review Committee on Dec. 11 reviewed a proposal to change occupancy at 924 West Henderson Avenue from retail (mercantile) to a fitness center (A-3). Rocio Mejia, assistant planner, said the property is zoned PD (planned development) and that staff provided preliminary, “generic” plan-review comments for signs, trash enclosures and other code items.
