Cora Krell, manager of Eagle Claw, told the board she and the owner’s staff attended a state liquor‑law class, refreshed employees on carding policies, added signage throughout the store, and installed a register application that requires date‑of‑birth entry when scanning alcohol items. She said the store will decline sales to occupants of a vehicle when any passenger is underage and that staff have been retrained to avoid mistaken sales.
A liquor enforcement officer inspected the premises within the review period and reported he was satisfied with the measures taken, the clerk confirmed. Commissioners noted the applicant had submitted the training attendance list and other documentation requested at the prior meeting and moved to approve the license renewal. The motion was seconded and carried by recorded ayes.
The board directed staff to file the renewal paperwork with the state and maintain the training and signage records in the store’s licensing file.
