Staff said they had identified some potential options, including the old medical center building in Dunn and county‑owned or leased properties near Lillington, and would pursue those leads and report findings to the board.
No lease changes or contract terminations were authorized at the work session; the board directed staff to continue negotiations and to return with recommended locations and cost estimates.
