County to move GIS from IT to Development Services to streamline map reviews

Commissioners agreed to place the reorganization request and the updated list of plat review officers on the consent agenda for the next meeting so the board can act formally. No final personnel or budget actions were taken at the work session.
Staff said the physical move and wiring plans would be coordinated through the CIP and that other space needs remain under evaluation; one option is to reserve the vacated space for future needs related to other departmental moves.
