The Wausau Planning Commission voted May 20 to approve a signage plan submitted by Lockrey Development for Banter Living at 1520 Elm Street, a planned unit development (PUD).
Brad, city staff, described the proposal as "a combination of, multi tenant sign on the corner as well as some building signage." Staff said the plan had been refined in coordination with the sign company and is "more in line with our standard zoning."
Commissioner Brueggemann moved to approve the signage plan; Commissioner Borneman seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The commission's action approved the submitted signage plan; final sign permits and any necessary adjustments will be handled through the city's permitting process as required for PUD components.
