Staff said the agreement includes a 120‑day termination provision and preserves the city’s flexibility to transition.
The council adopted the resolution on a 5–0 vote; no public comment was offered. City staff said CardConnect is already under contract to provide merchant services and the Bank of America agreement is strictly a stop‑gap to avoid interruption of card processing.
The resolution authorizes the city manager or designee to execute the agreement and confirms the city will continue to monitor and complete the vendor transition process.
