Orrville crews hang flower baskets, install Memorial Day banners by library

City crews in Orrville placed flower baskets on light poles and installed banners recognizing veterans by the library ahead of Memorial Day weekend, a staff member said.

The staff member described crews tightening baskets into the poles and noted that a second crew was following up to finish the work. "This is the second crew that's coming through," the staff member said. "As you can see, these baskets have been placed finer into the poles, and then the next screw comes in and hangs them out. So just wanted to kind of follow follow back through."

The staff member also said banners honoring veterans are in place near the library. "We also have some nice banners recognizing our our veterans. So those are nice and ready for Memorial Day weekend," the staff member said, adding that crews were working despite rainy weather: "So it's a rainy day, but we're getting things done."
