Item 8: Camden Heights solar field — gravel access approved with stipulations The commission approved a major amendment (25PD013) allowing access drives and drive aisles for a proposed private solar panel field for the Camden Heights apartment project to be constructed with a gravel surface rather than pavement. Staff said the gravel surface is proposed because the east–west portion of Utica Street adjacent to the site is being left unpaved and because vehicle traffic to the field is expected to be very low (a few maintenance visits per year).
