School Business Administrator Mr. Hastings apologized to board members and the public for recent technical problems with the BoardDocs agenda software that caused items to appear from prior agendas and some intended items to drop off the current agenda.
"We've had some problems with BoardDocs, which is the software that maintains our agendas," Hastings said. "We've had problems with the software going up and down, and our staff have put things on the agenda that have dropped off and seen things appear on the agenda that shouldn't have been, that were from previous agendas and was a bit of a mess over the past several days." He said the district reached out to BoardDocs for an explanation but had not yet heard back.
Hastings advised the board that the finance agenda contained numerous routine annual renewals and that staff would continue to work through the items; he apologized for any inconvenience or aggravation to board members and the public.
Board members thanked Hastings for the explanation. No immediate remedy was reported during the meeting beyond the district's outreach to the vendor.
