Votes reported to the floor
- Ways & Means 9 — Bond resolution (authorized amount described): Committee on Ways & Means reported a bond authorization package totaling approximately $64,640,416 in appropriations, with proposed state and federal matches and serial bond financing for the balance. Motion to authorize bonding moved and approved in committee; action forwarded to the floor for final consideration.
- MAV 2 — Veterans Service Agency budget amendment: Committee on Military Affairs and Veterans reported a request to add one Veteran Services Officer to the agency budget (internally posted); forwarded to the floor for budgetary action.
- LinkWell software agreement — Environment, Conservation, Renewable Energy & Parks: A five-year software and maintenance agreement with LinkWell for electric vehicle charging stations at 388 and 420 Broadway was reported to the floor. - PS 10 — Acceptance of STRIVE state grant funding (~$1,177,000): Committee on Public Safety reported acceptance of STRIVE funds distributed among city, county and nonprofit partners; committee approved acceptance and directed staff to proceed with subrecipient agreements and implementation steps (see separate article for details).
Process note: Several committees briefed the legislature on non-voting items as well (for example, Metroplex’s five-year capital plan was presented as required by statute and did not require a committee motion).
