At its May 27 meeting the Cumberland County Board of County Commissioners approved a set of consent agenda resolutions and several individually noted measures. The board approved the consent block of resolutions (Resolutions 2025-271 through 2025-312) and separately approved individual resolutions described below. Many items were adopted by motion and roll call.

- Resolution 2025-270: Authorized the surrogate's office to exceed the 2% budget cap for the 2025 county budget. Motion and roll call approval recorded.

Public comments and questions
During public comment on resolutions only, Nancy Ridgeway of Upper Deerfield and Fairfield Townships asked about large repair and purchase items in several resolutions. She asked about Resolution 2025-276 (authorizing repairs to a mower) and cited a repair figure of $24,223.27; staff explained the repair applies to a large arm mower and that the cost is a fraction of the estimated replacement price (about $300,000). Ridgeway also asked about Resolution 2025-305 (appointment to the Workforce Development Board) and urged broader geographic business representation on that board.
Administrative motions
The board accepted the treasurer's report and authorized payment of salaries and wages by motion. It opened and closed public comment periods for both resolutions-only and new business during the meeting.
