At the start of the public hearing, Matthew, who identified himself as representing Internet Systems Hills Company, asked the council to consider funding an epoxy floor replacement at what he described as the Citizens Hose Company firehouse. He said the project would improve safety for firefighters and the public and estimated the total project cost at $27,240. "We have committed $9,000 to the project and we're the funding requested $18,240," Matthew said during public comment.
Monica Fox, the city’s CDBG project coordinator, led the program presentation for Lock Haven and outlined the 2025 estimated allocation of $309,392 and the schedule of hearings and application deadlines.
