Sarah Hancock of Epic Coalition spoke briefly at the meeting about local events, a countywide medication take-back and free medication lock-box distribution planned with local pharmacies.
The board also approved a Health & Human Services contract with Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region for developmental-disability employment and day services. Health & Human Services director Gina James told the panel the contract is “up to $87,000 for the year” and the board voted to approve it.
