Commissioners, staff discuss MCAT vehicle parking, access and security at Community Service Building

Morrow County commissioners and staff discussed parking and security arrangements for MCAT vehicles after the transit operations move into the Community Service Building. Staff suggested using the far-south lot for some vehicle parking and discussed paving (blacktop) a segment of that lot to provide easier access and a more direct exit.

Security and cameras were also discussed. Staff said some camera coverage exists on the north side of the property but that cameras may not cover the far-south wooded edge adequately; they suggested adding lighting, moving camera angles, or adding camera coverage on the south side. Participants also discussed using department camera systems to provide additional coverage while keeping county control of footage and access.
