The medical examiner reported four suicides and one homicide in the quarter. Of the deaths investigated, the office classified approximately 13 percent as accidental and 63 percent as natural. The office said 40 percent of deaths involved a health-care facility (hospital, hospice or nursing home) and about 45 percent occurred in the decedents home.
