Chair Wey moved to adopt the proclamation; Director Bauer seconded the motion. The board voted 5 to 0 to adopt the proclamation.
The board’s proclamation encourages the community to celebrate diverse gender identities and sexual orientations among students, staff and residents. No additional school policy changes were approved at the meeting in connection with the proclamation.
