The council motion to award the contract was made and seconded on the record; the motion passed on a voice vote. The contract carries an estimated short construction window of about six weeks for the primary lining and associated cleaning and point repair work, staff said. City staff will coordinate required permits and any needed approvals from TxDOT or other agencies before work begins.
