Committee votes to delete outdated policies and correct graduation credit typo

At the June 10 meeting the Grafton School Committee voted to remove a large set of outdated or form‑based items from the district policy book and separately approved a correction to the graduation requirement policy (IKF) to fix an elective credit typo.
A committee member read a list of policy codes proposed for deletion and recommended removing policies that were forms, outdated practices or no longer relevant. A motion to delete the listed policies was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Separately, the committee discussed Policy IKF (graduation requirements). Members noted a typographical error listing elective credits as "32" when the correct figure is 32.5. The committee approved a one‑read fix to correct the elective credit value so the policy reflects the intended graduation requirement.
The deletions and the IKF edit will be reflected in the district policy drive and the updated policy book; staff will ensure the corrected IKF language is forwarded to the policy repository.
