Adams 12 to roll out districtwide two-way messaging platform; Panorama survey participation rises

The Adams 12 Five Star Schools Board of Education acknowledged monitoring report 2.1 on family, school and community partnering and approved the districtwide adoption of a single two‑way communication platform to improve teacher‑family engagement.

The report noted a 5% increase in Panorama survey participation over the previous year—more than 1,300 additional responses—and highlighted stronger results in several measures, including a seven-point improvement in school climate compared with the initial administration of the survey and gains in family perceptions of district responsiveness.

District staff said the chosen platform (a two‑way messaging solution procured through Apogee) will be the district’s single solution for classroom and school communication. Presenters reported that: - More than 1,000 educators participated in training during the final week of the school year. - The platform will be integrated with the district’s Infinite Campus rostering; parents can sign up and see all children’s classrooms in one place. - The vendor supports more than 100 languages; messages will appear in a parent’s chosen language and messages from parents will be translated back to English for teachers.

Board members and staff said they expect the rollout to start in August and noted the district will offer the one-way alerts product from the same vendor as an option for charter partners that choose to join the district contract.
