For the record, Andrew Dimas of Development Services told the commission that the plats are Pumalala Addition, Lot 1 (a final plat of 2.06 acres) and London Town Unit 12 (a final plat of 5.69 acres). "Staff recommends approval of both of these plats as they meet the requirements of the UDC and the Texas local government code," Dimas said.
Commissioners asked a few clarifying questions before the vote, including whether some larger, irregular lots in the London Town Unit 12 plat were buildable and whether a bridge or culvert would be required to connect the new lots to an existing adjacent street. Dimas said the lots are zoned RS 4.5 and, unless marked nonbuildable, are eligible for single-family homes, and that public infrastructure such as a bridge would be handled separately at the public improvement stage.
The consent agenda, which included those two final plats, passed on a motion and second with no recorded opposition. The commission also approved procedural items earlier in the meeting: a motion to acknowledge the approved absences of Commissioner Mandel and Chairman York from the last meeting, and approval of the minutes from the May 14 meeting.

The commission did not receive public comment on the two plats during the public comment period for those items. Staff said any required public improvements or off-site connections would be considered during the public improvement review process, separate from the plat approval.
