El Capitan ISD board adopts 2025–26 calendar change after Wharton County Youth Fair date shifts

A board member moved to approve the revised calendar “with the fair date,” and another board member seconded the motion. The motion passed by voice vote; the meeting transcript does not record a roll-call tally.
Board members did not raise additional edits to the calendar during the meeting. The revised calendar was adopted at the meeting and will be used for the 2025–26 school year unless the board takes further action.
