CCPS to vote in June on 2026–27 calendar after survey shows preference for traditional schedule

Ms. Mackey, the district director of communications, summarized responses from parents, students and staff on three proposed calendar models. According to the presentation, survey respondents preferred a traditional calendar similar to the 2024–25 school year over a newer midweek model.
The board was told it will vote on the 2026–27 school year calendar in June; no vote took place at the May 13 meeting.
