CDBG projected use of funds (scheduled item): Heather Cox presented a revised Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projected use of funds after the city’s HUD allocation was reduced by about $30,000 from preliminary planning estimates. Cox described small reductions primarily at the regional level; Orem‑specific program allocations — including funding for victim services, homeless services, critical home repair and LMI playground equipment — remained substantially intact. The council approved the resolution to adopt the revised projected use of funds.
Closed session motion: The council voted to adjourn to a closed‑door session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation, the character or professional competence of an individual, and the purchase or lease of real property. The mayor called for the closed session and the council voted in the affirmative.
