Trustees approved a contract to retain Method for technical assistance to implement a façade grant program in North Tulsa. Staff said the city previously allocated $140,000 to support the façade program and that the contract will use a portion of those budgeted funds.
Michelle, who presented the item, said staff have been working with the Tulsa Housing Authority and HUD on the program. “We still have a couple of steps, though, that we need to go through to actually execute and begin that program,” she said, adding that the city is working to finalize additional funding with Tulsa Development Corporation (TDC) and that staff will not start the Method contract until all approvals are in place.
Trustees approved the Method contract and the associated use of budgeted funds, with staff noting the objective is to be ready to launch the program immediately once sister approvals are complete. The contract was described as technical assistance to support façade grant administration and program start-up.
The item passed on a roll-call vote.
