At its April 15, 2025 meeting, the Kenosha Police and Fire Commission accepted the resignations of Detective Jason Mel Carte and firefighter Colin Osman, presented lifesaving awards to three officers who resuscitated an unresponsive man, and after a closed-session vote referred a citizen complaint back to the Kenosha Police Department for further investigation.
The personnel actions and awards were approved by voice vote during the open meeting. The commission also received and filed the police and fire department reports for March and approved minutes from its March 18, 2025 meeting.
